In the early days of R7, managing their investment portfolio company information and reporting on it was relatively simple. "We have a small team, as most venture firms do," Trey said, "I knew every detail of every company." But their lean team was not able to keep track of deals and recall terms easily and with confidence as R7's portfolio continued to grow.
