Andrew Mizzoni came to Aumni at an inflection point in his career. While working in mutual funds sales, he realized he was looking for the next challenge. In part inspired by watching Shark Tank during the pandemic, Andrew developed a passion for private markets investing. “I was fascinated by startups and decided I wanted to work in FinTech and something related to startups.”
The role at Aumni brought Andrew to Salt Lake City, Utah. “It’s very outdoors-focused. I love the community that I have here and I can snowboard, mountain bike, fly fish, and so much more. The location is accessible to so many beautiful national parks,” he adds. “Utah’s central location as a doorway to almost any destination in the west is a huge benefit professionally and personally.”
For anyone considering their next career move, Andrew stresses that it’s “really important to find something that you’re passionate about. Then it won’t feel like work! For me, it’s a lot easier to sell something that I am genuinely excited about. I love that Aumni is a truly dynamic software, solving complex problems faced by private markets investors.”
